Can I play from connected sources, such as a CD player, turntable etc. when the EVO is not connected to a network?

As the EVO is a Network Player, it requires a network connection to function properly. This means you cannot play from connected sources like a CD player or turntable when the EVO is not connected to a network. The network connection is necessary for setting up the unit, selecting sources, and using the StreamMagic app.

Please note that it is strongly recommended that the EVO is connected to a network at all times.
