Can I update the firmware of my Melomania 1 earphones?

Melomania 1 is not able to have its firmware updated. However, the firmware inside Melomania 1 is now extensively optimised and tested so like almost all earphones on the market, it does not need updating. In the early days of Melomania 1, a firmware update was released and provided via a complex Android process, however all product sold in 2020 has had the latest v6.6 firmware.

The serial number can be used to determine whether your Melomania1 were manufactured with the latest firmware (v6.6).

Example Serial number:
AK C11107 6959 1234

In this example “6959” is the manufacture date identifier.

All Melomania 1 with a date identifier equal to or greater than 6959 were manufactured with firmware v6.6.

The serial number can be found on the original box and on the inside of the charging case lid.
