StreamMagic wireless network set up - Android

In order to connect your player to your Wi-Fi you'll need to make sure it's in network setup mode.

Evo 75 & 150

Note: Before setting up your Evo 150 for the first time, please make sure that the USB Audio connection is unplugged. USB Audio can be re-connected once any firmware updates are applied.

If the screen doesn't look like the one above please carry out the following steps:

1. Make sure the unit it switched on

2. Hold down the (i) button on the player for a few seconds - this should open the information page

3. Press and hold the >| button for 2 seconds to enter in to Network setup mode

Edge NQ

1. Make sure Edge NQ is switched on

2. Hold down the power button for a few seconds - this should open up the information page

1. Choose 'Network reconnect' with the selector knob

2. Confirm your choice by pressing the power button

Set up continued (All Network Players)

Now that the player is in the correct mode you can follow the instructions in the app to set the player up on your Wi-Fi network.

To complete this process you will connect your mobile or tablet to the players own network, choose your home WiFi network and enter the passphrase or code, and then reconnect to your home network before returning to the StreamMagic app.

Follow the instructions in the app to the point where it instructs you to continue to your mobile devices settings page.

Android 10 and above

Tapping continue will open up your Wi-Fi settings panel over the app.

1. Select the network called 'setup:player.nnn'

2. Press Done

Android 9 or lower

You'll be taken to your Android network settings page

Look through the networks available for one called called 'setup:player.nnn'

Select this network and then use your back button to return to the StreamMagic app

All android versions continued

Your mobile device will connect to the players setup network

Note: Don't worry about any alert suggest like the one below, remember, you're temporarily connecting directly to your players set up network, it wont have internet access until it's successfully connected to your home network.

You'll then be asked to choose your home network and enter your network passphrase or code

Pressing continue will apply the network settings to your player and it will shut down its set up network

Your mobile device will then reconnect to your home network and the StreamMagic app will find your player on your home network.

If prompted follow the remaining steps on screen to complete the set up process.
