I can't update the firmware version of my Network Player.

The latest firmware version for our older Network Players (NP30, Stream Magic 6 V1 & Minx Xi) is v270-a-012, which was released on 14th December 2020.

If you are running an earlier firmware version than this and are unable to update it, we would recommend trying the following steps:

  • Perform a factory reset on your Player via the front panel settings.

Please note that a reset will delete all saved settings, presets and network information.

  • Connect your Player directly to your network router via an Ethernet cable.

  • Attempt to update the firmware of your Player again.

Please note that it is not possible to update the firmware via a USB drive or any other means, other than by connecting the Player to our update server via the front panel settings.

If, after trying the above, you are still unable to update your Player's firmware version, this would suggest that your Network Player is experiencing a fault that will require servicing to resolve.

Out of warranty:
If your unit is outside its warranty period and experiencing a fault, we would recommend contacting the dealer you purchased it from or the distributor for your region, as they will be able to advise on the service options available to you.
