How do I set up the Alva ST with my EVO?

EVO 75:

The Alva ST can be used alongside the Aux input on the EVO 75.

  1. Set the output level switch on the rear of the Alva ST to 'Line'.

  2. Connect the output leads from the Alva ST to the 'Aux In' on the EVO.

  3. Set the ground switch on the rear of the EVO to '2'. This position can be beneficial in reducing hum with a turntable connected.

EVO 150

The Alva ST can be used alongside the Aux input and the MM Phono input on the EVO 150.

Aux In

  1. Set the output level switch on the rear of the Alva ST to 'Line'.

  2. Connect the output leads from the Alva ST to the 'Aux In' on the EVO.

  3. Set the ground switch on the rear of the EVO to '3'. This position can be beneficial in reducing hum with a turntable connected.

MM Phono

  1. Set the output level switch on the rear of the Alva ST to 'Phono'.

  2. Connect the output leads from the Alva ST to the 'MM Phono' input on the EVO.

  3. Connect the ground lead from the Alva ST to the ground screw on the EVO.

  4. Set the ground switch on the rear of the EVO to '3'. This position can be beneficial in reducing hum with a turntable connected.
