You can connect a Tape Deck to the EDGE A as a source for playback by connecting your Tape Deck's line out to one of the analog inputs (A1, A2) on the back of the EDGE A.

The EDGE A does not have a dedicated "Record Out" for use with a tape deck's recording function.
