Using your Melomania Touch earphones with Skype

Before proceeding with any of the following instructions, please ensure that your Melomania earphones are connected to your laptop.

Windows 10 Laptop

Step 1. Confirm your Input and Output. Go to Windows Settings and select System.

Step 2. Select Sound.

Step 3. Ensure your Output and Input device are set to Melomania earphones.

Step 4. Manage sound devices.

Step 5. Enable your Melomania earphones.

In Output devices select Headphones Melomania … L Stereo & Melomania … L (or R) Hands-Free AG Audio, then press Enable.

In Input devices select Melomania … L Hands-Free AG Audio, then press Enable.

Step 6. Confirm the apps that you wish to use have access to the microphone by entering Windows Settings and selecting Privacy.

Step 7. Select Microphone on the left panel.

Step 8. Confirm your apps are displayed.

MacBook

Step 1. Confirm your Input and Output. In System Preferences, select Sound.

Step 2. Ensure your Output and Input device are set to Melomania earphones.

Step 3. Ensure Melomania earphones are selected for sound input.

Step 4. Confirm the apps you wish to use have access to the microphone by entering System Preferences, then selecting Security and Privacy.

Step 5. Confirm your apps are displayed.

Skype on Windows 10 and MacBook

Step 1. Launch Skype.

Step 2. Select '...' then Settings.

Step 3. Select Audio & Video.

Step 4. Ensure that Melomania earphones are being used via the drop-down menu for Microphone devices.

They should be enabled by default. If not, change this using the drop-down menu and selecting ‘Headset (Melomania Hands-Free AG Audio)’.

Step 5. Ensure that Melomania earphones are being used via the drop-down menu for Speaker devices.
