DacMagic XS - Firmware Information

There is no firmware update available for the DacMagic XS however if you would like to use the unit with higher resolution music files, you can use the unit in USB Audio 2.0 Mode.

You can switch between USB Audio 1.0 and 2.0 mode by holding both the + and - buttons until you see a brief flicker of a pink light within the unit. Once you see this the LED will switch off.

You can then repeat the process to switch back to USB 1.0 although this should not be necessary.

Once the unit is in USB Class 2.0, this will appear within the CA Control Panel as 'CA DacMagicXS 2.0'.
