How can I add radio stations as presets within the Cambridge Connect app?

It is possible to add radio stations as presets using a custom URL via your network player's Web Admin page.

Note: We only suggest following the steps below if you are using one of our older network players (Stream Magic 6 V1, NP30 and Minx Xi), which the Cambridge Connect app is intended to be used with.
If you are using one of our newer network players (Stream Magic 6 V2 or later), please download the StreamMagic app instead.

How can I add radio stations as presets within the Cambridge Connect app?

1. Within the Cambridge Connect app under 'Library', navigate to 'Players' and locate your player.

2. Press the Information button (i) to open your unit information. Then copy or make note of the IP address.

3. Open a new internet browser window on your smartphone, tablet or computer and enter the IP address, then enter. This will bring up the Web Admin page for your player.

4. Scroll down to Presets and select ADD NEW PRESET...

5. Fill out the three fields, first confirming which preset you wish to assign the station to, the preset name and the station's custom URL. This can usually be found on the stations website.

6. Once this information has been entered, select OK and your preset will be saved. Close and re-open the Cambridge Connect app and the preset will be installed.
